ACE Enterprise Park is responsible for the delivery of the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance scheme for clients referred to us by the Department of Social Protection in Crumlin, Rathmines and Inchicore. The scheme enables individuals to receive support from the Department of Social Protection for the first 2 years of their business.

How it works

Step 1     Contact the Department of Social Protection in your area, to confirm if you are eligible to apply for the scheme.

Step 2     When they confirm you are eligible to apply, call us and we’ll make an appointment for you to meet with our Enterprise Assistant.

Step 3     We’ll send you an email confirming the details of the meeting, attaching all the necessary documentation.

Step 4     After meeting with our Enterprise Assistant, your application will be either approved or you will be advised what other work needs to be completed.

Step 5    We recommend you attend our ‘Introduction to Self-Employment’, which takes place on the last Thursday of each month in our Conference Centre in Bawnogue.

Step 6     You are welcome to use as many of our services as possible e.g. business courses, networking events, mentoring, etc.
