Here at Ace, we are always planning for the future and working to help our members with accessing resources, space and supports. Q1 2024 is no different. Along with our exciting new website, we have some upcoming events which underline our commitment to supporting enterprise in South Dublin.
First, we are as committed as ever to supporting upcoming LEO initiatives, including the “ENFUSE” scheme. This initiative matches local enterprises and social enterprises with Master’s students who can help with critical planning, strategy, digital marketing, innovation, data analysis, project management and more. Enterprises can apply by 18th January 2024 for this valuable experience and gain from professional insights at no cost.
Secondly, we are introducing a speaker series in conjunction with Connected Hubs and Technological University Shannon. This will be on the last Thursday of every month, starting with 25th January 2023 when we will stream the lecture to the hub and follow with a light lunch and discussion for attendees. The first lecture topic will be “Optimising Social Media Marketing” and we look forward to a wide range of relevant topics throughout the year including Taxation, Funded Upskilling Opportunities and Cybersecurity. You can book tickets here, and it’s a great idea to set aside the last Thursday of each month for lunch and learn at Ace!
Finally, we will be hosting a Food Cluster event discussing issues facing food businesses, particularly distribution issues, as they navigate the start-up and scale-up stages. This will be in connection with Dublin Food Chain and we will post more details soon. In the meantime, it is a good idea for any food business operators to save the date: 13th February 2024 for the morning. We can promise an invigorating morning and delicious lunch!
